Mountaineering in Nepal

My father and I spent all of November, 2017 trekking and climbing in Nepal. A long dream of my Dad's to explore this part of the world I was delighted to tag along.

We focused on the Everest region and set out to cross two high passes (Cho La and Renjo La), go to Everest Base Camp and climb Imja Tse / Island Peak (20,305' / 6,189m). The elevation was challenging. Staying healthy was hard. But the landscape paid reward for all those challenges. One of the most unique places I've ever been. Standing at 15,000' and having to crane your neck to see the peaks towering above you, the prominence of these mountains is unlike anything I've seen.

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the experience. The memories of suffering have faded and I'm ready to go back!
